The above illustration sent to me by one of the subscribers illustrates perfectly my attitude and understanding of the situation.
For example, the Republicans were overwhelmed and ejected from congress and if the Decider were up for re-election, he would have been expelled as well. The majority of Americans would also support is impeachment, even now with a short time left in his term.
The overwhelming reason for this vote was a strong anti-Iraq attitude towards the occupation of Iraq and the accompanying deaths and debt incurred. Still, we are there. The main difference is that there is more criticism and perhaps less blind support for the Decider’s policies.
Nothing else has changed. Not even a non-binding resolution could be passed by the Senate.
However, there are some nuances of difference between different candidates and we constantly hear pontificating on the various races, so we will explore some of this soon.
