HOLY RETRIBUTION, BATMAN!

Much of this happened less that seven days ago. Since then, a tsunami of candid assessments of the Fux viewership, the practitioners, and the arbiter of morals in chief have been released and the statements are, to say the least, amusing – a candid revelation of how truth and other such virtues are measured in this country. As soon as most of this pity party is released, we will collect it here and this save the sane from further intellectual humiliation.

The Orange Orator appeared before his home crowd announcing his second coming by proclaiming "I am your warrior, I am your retribution"! Hundreds of mindless minions cheered as their warrior for truth and cleansing the putrid deep state which has bedeviled the bewildered bumpkins for years. Now leading the world wide march for fascism, a form of government that flourished in the 1920s and 30s, to the point where one country, Albania I seem to remember, used the campaign slogan "Make Albania Great Again". He lost, but then that was Europe, this is Amerika! Yes, the Orange Orator and warrior has returned and will put this country back to its true glory – white, patriarchal, straight, and also enforce indentured servitude (for what else is it to carry to term a fetus the product of rape or incest, and even still-born or dead by the seventh month?).

One very chilling, or perhaps only puzzling, aspect of the MAGA slogan is that nobody who has fealty to the movement will answer one basic question. The word "again" certainly references a period of time in or during which these primitive life-forms concede America was once great. However, asking tht question only leaves bewildered expressions on their face, or they quickly ignore the question and try to change the subject. Unfortunately, there is no subject waiting for them, so only a stunned silence is left as they wander off in a cloud..

I have received a few guesses from other individuals and they seem to make sense, or at least are in accord with the character and mental miasma of these true believers. We only need to find a time when things were in accordance with them as the ruling class, the favored ones, the elite. Education and intellect are, of course, irrelevant. So, we need a time when the population was overwhelmingly white or Caucasian, people from England and northern Europe, English speakers, with no discernible political leanings. In other words, wherein the majority of the population was superficial and not given to question authority, which was, of course, wielded by white men. Exceptions were tolerated, people such as Woodie Guthrie and Studs Terkel, Clarence Darrow and even Roosevelt, all of them. It is worth noting that when asked why he decided to run for President, he replied "I figured that I was obligated to save my friends from themselves." The salvation for all of them, the reason they could be somewhat tolerated, was they were all white males.

I need a new paragraph just for this one bit of information that summarizes the despair these people feel. A real anecdote from a line in Texas, people waiting for some reason (I couldn't care less what reason) and a man behind a woman speaking in a foreign language (at least he couldn't understand it) at least waited until she finished and then said "Lady, if'n yew wan ta bin this country, yew gots ta speak real 'Merikan." She looked at him, smiled, and replied "I was speaking Navajo."

So what time are they thinking of? What fits best is during the Eisenhower administration. A genuine war hero running the country, a genuine anti-communist Vice President (Richard Nixon), about 80 to 90% white population, and only a minority of Jews to foul things up but we sent as many of them as possible to imitate Adolf, or, as we put it in our propaganda, "carve out a nation in the desert" despite the reluctance of Truman.

In an old Alan Funt recording, the man on the street interviews, one New Yorker was asked who he was supporting in that election, and he said "Stevenson". He was asked "but do you think he has the scruples?" The answer came back "yeah, but he'll get rid of them once he gets into office." Brilliant, yes, that is the time when America was great. I am not sure about Albania.

Well, I am off to continue the repair of my digital transfer facilitator (my computer) and wish you all a peaceful respite.
